Our Fox 2.5 Remote reservoir shocks offer great on road comfort, and at the same time can provide high end off-road performance. The DSC adjuster equipped remote reservoir provides additional damping and cooling, so we can slow down the rebound damping reducing bounce, while adding compression damping for added control off road at speed. The main internal valving we designed for these series of shocks is very unique, as it was developed in a virtual Shock Dyno computer program. Designing the valving this way was very tricky, but once we got all the details squared away in the computer, it let us squeeze every bit of performance out of the shocks internals.

These are a great option for anything from low speed off-road, to aggressive off-road driving. The DSC adjuster provides a range of compression damping similar to our Stage 2 King 2.5 shocks when at full soft, and about Stage 4 when the adjusters are set to full stiff.

Consider adding Shock Boots to protect the shock shafts. With exposed shock shafts, regular Off-Road, and winter ice and snow conditions where they gravel and salt roads, can quickly ruin shocks. Mud and salt dried on the shafts, can penetrate the seals during use, and this is also not covered under warranty.

2010 Fox 2.5 shocks

Started with a bone stock 2010 3500 and threw the works at it with every Thuren part available all at one time. Reviewing the shocks alone I would say they are fantastic (especially without the King wait time!) I’ve daily drove this truck since installing everything, went out in my backyard of Nevada in the dirt and towed my 4 seat can am numerous times with zero complaints! Note: when ordering everything I was nervous of towing my can am with the long travel leaf springs but was very surprised at how little it sagged and smooth it rode when loaded. Back to the shocks! The small bumps and lane dividers are obviously still there (37s help with those haha) but don’t shake the cab nearly as much. The biggest difference would be the bigger stuff, large bridge overpasses, ditch dips and whoops are soaked up greatly compared to stock! There are several large dips/bumps in my everyday commute that when stock I would have to slow down to under 25 mph to avoid head trauma…… now with the 2.5s I cruise over them at 55 mph with the truck settling within a blink of an eye and back to smooth riding! I would recommend these shocks to anyone no matter what you do with your truck.
